When I thought about becoming a Carpet Cleaner, I researched the market leaders in training. With over 45 years of experience in running professionally recognised courses, it was the Prochem training course that gave me the foundation to begin cleaning. I learnt about Carpet Conditions, Methods, Stain Removal and more. Essentially I was keen to become an expert in cleaning and ensure all my clients received the best possible clean with the best outcome.
There is a chemistry behind cleaning and I will run several tests before I decide how to clean your carpet or upholstery. This includes visually inspecting stains, checking the fibre and checking the PH. If you do have any questions about your own carpet, for example if it is Wool or even if you have stains, get in touch!

I thought I would use this space to keep you informed about Cleaner Carpets and post any updates to the business. It can be a space to update about COVID, my ways of working, deals and anything else. For this post, I will start at giving you some information around how Cleaner Carpets began...
I worked at Heathrow Airport for 10 years and worked shifts in a control room. I was thinking about starting my Carpet Cleaning Company in 2019 and was doing some tentative research around the machinery, the tools, the costs. This desire to start the company came from a genuine interest in the carpet cleaning videos I had seen online and how satisfying it looked. I bought my first home in 2017 and had my first child in 2018 so the desire to have my own business was also to pick my hours and provide as much as I could for my family. In 2020, due to COVID, I was made redundant in August. By this point I had two young children and the news was hard to take. However, after a small period of time, I decided that this might be just what I needed to get my ideas off the ground. I didn't look for a new role and put all my energy into creating 'Cleaner Carpets'. I bought the best materials possible and booked myself onto two courses and began practising at home and for family. I then hit the ground running in September determined to make something of Cleaner Carpets for my family! |
